Meet New Southern Region Director Chuck Foster

AMBUCS is pleased to announce that Chuck Foster of the Aiken, SC chapter has been chosen to serve as the Director –elect for the Southern Region. He will take office next July, after current Southern Region Director Matt Trainor concludes his second consecutive term.

Chuck, one of the most dedicated members of the Aiken chapter, first joined AMBUCS in 2001. Since then, he has assumed a number of key leadership roles within the organization, including Chapter President, Chapter Secretary, and District Governor. He has also earned the recognition of being a Big Hat Club and Life member.

Professionally, he has enjoyed a successful career as a financial advisor for Edward Jones Investments.

Chuck resides in Aiken with his lovely wife Lynn and they have a daughter, Emily (21). He describes himself as lover of cars, trucks and computers, as well as being an instrument rated private pilot and a “perpetual college student.”

For his upcoming term as Region Director, Chuck lists building new chapters, expanding AMBUCS’ membership base, and re-energizing current members as his main goals.

“This is an exciting time to be an AMBUCS member and I am just thankful for having the opportunity to further serve this wonderful organization,” he said.
