In the blink of an eye, it’s already March. The year is moving fast, and there’s a lot happening across AMBUCS.
From chapters hosting events and delivering Amtrykes to welcoming new members and strengthening community partnerships, the momentum is real. We’re inspired every day by the way you serve, lead, and help communities become more adaptive and accessible.
As we head into a busy spring and look ahead to Regional and National Conferences, there’s plenty to be excited about. Here’s a look at what’s happening across National AMBUCS this month.
The Amtryke Evaluation & Fitting Training (AEFT) Online Course is officially live.
This long-awaited course equips therapists with the foundation to confidently assess, fit, and implement adaptive tricycles in both clinical and community settings. It serves as the first step in the full AEFT training pathway.
The in-person AEFT builds on the online coursework and includes both classroom instruction and hands-on fitting experience.
Continuing education credits for the online course are currently pending.
Course Pricing:$50 for non-AMBUCS therapists, $10 for students Free for AMBUCS member therapists
This is a great opportunity to invite volunteer therapists to join your chapter. AMBUCS therapist membership now includes full access to AEFT Online at no additional cost.
Join us this evening at 7:30 PM EST to celebrate the impact of the Big Hat Club in AMBUCS. Big Hatters grow membership, develop leaders, and bring energy to chapters.
Learn about leadership roles, how they strengthen chapters, and why this group drives momentum. The chapter with the most attendees on the Zoom session will win a $50 National AMBUCS Store gift certificate.
AMBUCS chapters, this is your reminder: just one week left to apply for the Veteran Initiative Amtryke Grant. Applications close March 15, 2026.
Each chapter may apply for one free Amtryke. If awarded, the Amtryke and essential accessories are covered at 100%, including shipping. Funding is limited and awards are not guaranteed. Now is the time to step up for a veteran in your community.
Scholarship season is underway, and we’re grateful for the Scholarship Chairs and volunteers leading the way.
