The National AMBUCS team is honored and excited to welcome you to the 2026 AMBUCS National Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! Below, you’ll find helpful information to prepare for an unforgettable week. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to help.

Anyone not currently registered will now need to do so on-site, where on-site registration is now $275 for full conference and $250 for weekend.

Themes: 

Wednesday Night Opening Dinner: Our opening dinner on Wednesday night will have a tropical theme! Feel free to dress the part and embrace the island vibes, but tropical attire is completely optional.

Saturday Morning General Session: Our Saturday morning general session will have an America 250 theme! If you have red, white, and blue to wear, feel free to show your patriotic spirit and join in the fun.

Share your conference moments! When you post your photos and memories, be sure to use #AMBUCS2026 so we can follow along and celebrate the week together.

Parking:

Self-parking is $11.99 per day, and valet parking is $20.00 per day. Both options include in/out privileges.

Keep in mind that the covered parking garage has a strict height limit of 7’1″, and oversized vehicles like box trucks, RVs, boats, and trailers are not permitted. 

Transportation

The Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort (10000 Beach Club Drive) provides a free resort shuttle that operates within a 2-mile radius, taking guests to local shopping, dining, and the sister property, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Resort.

Airport Transfers: The resort does not offer a free airport shuttle. Guests typically use rideshares (Uber/Lyft), taxis, or pre-arranged private vans and town car services for the 12-mile trip from MYR.

Car Rentals: If you plan to travel beyond the immediate area, rentals are available right at the MYR airport terminal. 

First Timers

If this is your first time attending a national conference, please join us on Wednesday, August 26th, from 4 pm – 5 pm room Arcadian(1-4) for a ‘First Timers’ meeting. Here you can get your questions answered, mingle with other first-timers, and learn about conference rules.

Join us as we put our mission in motion and get moving for our 20th Annual Trek 4 Trykes on Saturday morning. You can register in the AMBUCS Store all week! 100% of the proceeds raised during this event provide funding for Amtryke adaptive tricycles to people on the AMBUCS National Wish List.

Big Hat Club Raffle

This year’s National Big Hat Club Raffle includes 3 chances to win!

1st Prize: $3,000
2nd Prize: $2,000
3rd Prize: $1,000

The chapter that sold the 1st prize ticket will also receive a $1,000 credit with the AMBUCS Resource Center.

You can buy tickets from Big Hat officers at the conference, buy virtual tickets online, or mail a check to the AMBUCS Resource Center (postmarked by Friday, July 14) to National AMBUCS 1930 Alleghany St, High Point, NC 27263

National Big Hat Club Auction

On Thursday, the Big Hat Club Lunch and Auction will be an afternoon of fun, fundraising, and fellowship. This event will also feature the election of the new National Big Hat officers. Help fuel our mission by donating one-of-a-kind items to the auction! Your contribution can spark excitement, bidding wars, and meaningful support for our cause.

(Optional) Challenger League Baseball Game  

On Thursday, August 27th at 6:00 PM, we’ll head to the ballpark to cheer on athletes from the Challenger League as teams from Savannah, Georgia, and the Myrtle Beach area take the field. RSVP HERE

Hospitality Suite

Each evening after our program has concluded, the Hospitality Suite will be the place to gather and socialize with your fellow AMBUCS. The Hospitality Suite is located in Room 2003P

Voting

In previous years, credentials check-in took place during General Sessions. To minimize disruptions this year, we’ll be holding credentials check-in just outside the main meeting space. Chapter Presidents or designated voting delegates should check in on during the following times:

Thursday Pre-General Session  8:15-8:45 am

Thursday Post General Session 11:15-11:45 am

Saturday Morning Pre-General Session 8:30-9:00 am 

Great Amtryke Giveaway

On Saturday afternoon, we’ll continue a cherished National AMBUCS Conference tradition by presenting Amtrykes to riders from the local community.

President’s Dinner

There will be open seating and no voucher exchange at this year’s President’s Dinner. Only limited reserved seating will be available for speakers, Past National Presidents, and special guests. The dress code is formal to semi-formal.
