Chapter Presidents or Secretaries, please return Form 135/136 by November 30, 2018 (if you are on the May 31 - June 1 fiscal year) or May 15, 2019 (if you are on the January 1 - December 31 fiscal year).
This report chronicles your chapter's activities for the previous chapter year (June 1, 2017 - May 31, 2018 or, in a few cases, January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018).
The purpose of this form is to help us determine good governance and best management practices for the organization. As a non-profit organization, we strive for transparency and ethical practices. The form serves to certify compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulations concerning our chapters.
We also use this information to collect AMBUCS organization data and build statements like the following: Last year 20,000 AMBUCS volunteers expended 500,000 volunteer hours for community service projects. Actual monies spent on community service projects was $6 million . It is estimated the economy in the United States was impacted by $20 million.
